Our second visit here. Great food, friendly staff and the kitchen doesn't mind adjusting dishes for special dietary requirements. Highly recommend and will be going back again!

Nice place! I has a nice lunch there with a few friends and everyone one of us enjoyed our meal. I had a great sandwich and salad. It was a busy place, but the wait staff was quick and very polite and patient with our group.

The food and service is always great. I got the Cobb salad this time and it was amazing and maybe a bit too much to eat. Good problem to have.

My friend and I went here the other day and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor patio for a nice lunch. Prices are reasonable. Lots of tasty menu items to please all tastes. And a good list of great beers. We'll certainly be back for a dinner. Lots of room for big groups as well.

The place is nice but I ordered wings and they were so extremely over sauced that they were soggy, not crisp. Also, all I could taste was sauce. Couldn't finish them. I've eaten literally hundreds of wings from many places and never had them this saucy. Caesar salad was good though.When the waitress brought the bill I questioned why the drinks weren't charged and she mentioned because I wasn't happy with the wings which is actually hilarious because the drinks were fine (the bar is not too high for Diet Pepsi) LOL But they still charged for the wings.

Had a great meal on the patio with friends. Great service as always. Very accommodating and we'll organized for the current situation with social distancing. Limited menus however good variety

CJ's is a classic spot in Cobourg that used to be Casey's. This was one of the busiest if not the busiest Casey's around.... and for good reason. Same owners and same staff, different name but their own branding as far as I know. They do things well and with the small town friendly vibe whilst still holding professionalism. Great food, great drinks, great staff.

Service was okay,plant base burger and veggie were wrap were tasty,prices were reasonable, good place for lunch and dinner.

Never disappoints. Our server overheard that our 4 yr old wanted tacos. Not on their menu. So she made some suggestions and little guy got his own version of a taco. Servers are always accommodating a friendly. The atmosphere changes each visit depending on how busy they are. Food of course is always what you expect. Overall great place to eat!

So much potential here - but so many things miss the mark. Visited with family (including kids). Seated in back corner near washroom, no problem but tables are way too close together (even the waitress complained about them). Waitress was friendly but uninterested. Order the Stacker burger - a great concept that was poorly put together. Primary flavors were 'burnt' and 'cold'. Bun was burnt on inside. BBQ sauce on the onions was all burnt flavour. Burger was cooked well but dry (and cold in spots - leaving me to suspect it was reheated). Fries were soft and greasy. Once again lots of potential - but just about everything was sub-par on my visit.

I had Montreal Smoked meat sandwich, fries and gravy and French onion soup to start. Soup was excellent as was the sandwich. Gravy was pretty good too.

While I have enjoyed the food here in the past, I didn't this visit. Hamburger was under cooked. Bun and pickle were tough to chew. While the waitress was pleasant and understanding , a reorder wasn't given due to time needed and busy night. Left and grabbed a Wendy's burger.

Came in around noon with my mom, we both ordered a lunch special. The portion sizes were perfect and was worth the $10 we spent. Our waitress was lovely and the service was fast and appropriate. It is a very average place, food quality is good and prices are fare. Nothing above and beyond here but doesn't fall short anywhere; a very safe place to eat, very casual.

Excellent place to get a bite. Nice patio and close to the highway, if you’re passing by between cities. Good pasta, fries are great and the Cobb is ... linear.

Ended up getting sick off the cesar salad side I had,I'm fairly certain. My quest had the same meal with a garden salad and was fine. Might try to go back in the future?Might give it a second chance maybe? Besides that the service was decent.Who knows maybe it was me? But my review is based off the fact I was sick within 30-40mins after my meal

Love this place. Half price apps after 9 when you sit near the bar. We go atleast once a week. Service is amazing. Food rocks. Prices make it even better. Love Love Love the Nachos and the hubby love the cold Heineken.

Great place to see some live entertainment. Food is good and they change up the menu fairly regularly so one has a chance to change up their choice of main courses and eat outside their norm.

The servers were very respectful and helped find the perfect table for a first date. (A quiet spot in the corner). The food is always well presented and tasty.

Pleasantly surprised! I got the buttermilk chicken salad- was very well sized and lots of delicious toppings. The customer service here is amazing- very accommodating. The wine list was fairly extensive for a bar as well. I recommend this place if you are visiting Cobourg.

Place is very friendly. Good customer service. Please don't get jambalaya from here. My friend got burger he seems to enjoy it. Coconut shrimp was pretty good as well.

Salmon was undercooked but they acknowledged it and took the offence off the bill. We were a table of 8. So a bit complicated. Otherwise it was...ok.

On our way through on Monday December 16, 2019, we stopped in Cobourg for lunch. Four of us ordered - French onion soup, the Reuben (w/ side ceasar salad), the clubhouse w/ fries, Cashew chicken stir fry and Ginger curry shrimp (on rice noodle - Gluten free). Every meal was exceptional! This place deserves a much higher rating than 4 stars. To boot, we were able to park a truck and trailer on the far side of the parking lot behind the strip mall! Look no further. You should definitely stop in here!!!

Oh my gosh we drove from Bowmanville to celebrate a cousins birthday n theres not enough words to express the awesome waitress we had wonderful service n the food was a 10 the best honey garlic wings n onion rings I’ve ever had. Folks take the drive n check it out u will not leave hungry or disappointed we will be beck. Thank u CJ’s

This place has a comfortable and cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was amazing and everything we ordered was great. Highly recommend you check this place out if your in the neighborhood.

Staff were pleasant. Spinach dip was really good. The chicken Parm was pretty bland. The cheese cappaletti was okay.
